Using an interactive approach, we will co-examine one of the most important topics in health IT: ethics. Beginning with a interactive look at some of the primary ethical frameworks and paradigms that guide current healthcare practice, we will move through a conversation about the growing importance of information and communications technologies as moral factors, and conclude with a discussion about the implications of these ethics and paradigms as overarching requirements for systems design.
